Our client, a market-leading engineering business is seeking an experienced Sales Order Engineering Manager to join their team. The business is built on strong customer service, technical expertise, and quality-focused manufacturing operations, supported by modern design systems and ISO-certified processes.
Purpose: Lead the local Sales Order Engineering team to support the timely and accurate delivery of engineered-to-order products. Oversee all aspects of technical delivery, from pre-sales application support through production release, ensuring alignment with cost, quality, and performance targets.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and coordinate application, electrical, and mechanical engineering teams supporting sales and production functions.
- Ensure timely generation of accurate build data, drawings, schematics, and BOMs to meet production schedules.
- Manage engineering document control and change processes, including product improvements and compliance updates.
- Drive continuous improvement in systems, processes, and product performance.
- Oversee customer-specific engineering projects, support field quality investigations, and assist with technical audits and FATs.
- Ensure all products meet required safety and compliance standards (e.g., CE, UL, CSA).
Qualifications & Experience
- Degree in engineering (BSc / BEng or equivalent).
- 5–10+ years' experience in leading technical teams or engineering functions.
- Professional Engineering status preferred.

- Skilled in low/medium voltage systems and design for manufacture (DFM).
