Key Responsibilities
- Preparing accurate and detailed electrical cost estimates for various projects.
- Reviewing technical drawings, specifications, and tender documents.
- Collaborating with suppliers and subcontractors to obtain competitive quotations.
- Identifying risks and value engineering opportunities within tenders.
- Working closely with design and project teams to ensure alignment between costings and project requirements.
- Assisting in the preparation of tender submissions and supporting contract negotiations.
- Staying updated on market rates, materials, and emerging technologies.
Skills & Experience Required
- Proven experience as an Electrical Estimator within the M&E or construction industry.
- Strong understanding of electrical systems, installations, and industry standards.
- Proficiency in interpreting technical drawings and specifications.
- Familiarity with estimating software and Excel.
- Excellent attention to detail and commercial awareness.
- Effective communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively.
- Relevant qualifications in Electrical Engineering or Building Services (preferred).
