3D POS Designer (Junior/Mid) Leicester £27-£35k (Based on Experience) Are you passionate about product design and looking to take the next step in your career? We’re working with a global retail display solutions provider based in Leicester, who are looking to add a talented Junior/Mid-Level 3D POS Designer to their growing product development team. In this role, you’ll have the opportunity to work on exciting projects, creating stunning and functional point-of-sale displays for high street stores, with a particular focus on the beauty and cosmetics industry. You’ll work alongside experienced designers, using AutoCAD and SolidWorks to bring client-supplied designs to life. This is a great opportunity for a motivated designer early in their career who wants to grow their skills, develop professionally, and work on exciting, real-world projects. Key Responsibilities: Design Development: Assist in creating engaging, functional designs for retail displays that are on-brand, sustainable, and manufacturable. Team Collaboration: Work with experienced designers and engineers to understand client requirements, timelines, and budgets. CAD Modelling: Produce 3D models and 2D drawing packs using AutoCAD and SolidWorks. Learn & Grow: Gain valuable experience in designing products that are practical for manufacturing, considering materials and environmental impact. Cross-Team Coordination: Collaborate with teams across the UK and Europe to ensure designs are optimised for production. About You: Education: Recently completed or working towards a degree or diploma in Product Design, Industrial Design, or a related field. CAD Skills: Familiarity with AutoCAD and SolidWorks, or other similar 3D design software, with a desire to develop advanced skills. Eager to Learn: A keen interest in product design and engineering, with an eye for detail and problem-solving. Team Player: Strong communication skills and a positive attitude, comfortable working in a collaborative environment. Organised & Adaptable: Able to manage multiple projects, deadlines, and priorities in a fast-paced setting. Salary & Benefits: Competitive salary between £25,000 – £35,000 depending on experience.
