About the Job:
We’re looking for a Distribution Centre (DC) Operative to support Senior Operatives and Team Leaders, working as part of a team focused on picking, packing, and Value-Added Services (VAS) within our warehouse operation. You’ll play a key role in ensuring that inventory and customer orders are fulfilled with accuracy and delivered on time.
Key Responsibilities:
- Pick and pack Ecommerce orders in line with our service level agreements to ensure customer satisfaction.
- Provide first-line coaching and support to temporary warehouse operatives to promote efficient teamwork.
- Expedite orders quickly and accurately as directed by Senior Operatives and Team Leaders.
- Investigate and troubleshoot order or inventory issues, and report findings to maintain service levels.
- Ensure all tasks are completed safely and in line with our Health and Safety policies.
About You:
- Ideally, previous experience working in a Pick, Pack, or VAS department.
- Strong customer orientation and attention to detail.
- Ability to work effectively under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
- A collaborative mindset with strong teamworking skills.
- Flexibility to work across different areas of the DC as needed.
- Proactive, with a strong sense of initiative.
- Clear communication skills.
- Confident using computer databases and systems.
- Good understanding of Health and Safety procedures.
