Site Engineer

Job Title: Site Engineer – Highways & Earthworks Location: Huddersfield, West Yorkshire Rate: £370 – £400 per day (LTD/CIS) Duration: 10 Months Job Description: We are currently recruiting for a Site Engineer to support a major Highways and Earthworks project based in Huddersfield. The successful candidate will play a key role in delivering key infrastructure works over a 10-month programme. Key Responsibilities: * Setting out for highways, drainage, bulk earthworks and associated infrastructure. * Carrying out QA checks and ensuring compliance with design specifications. * Daily coordination with the site team, subcontractors and the project management team. * Completing site documentation including RAMS, ITPs, and daily reports. * Ensuring all works are carried out to the highest safety and environmental standards. Requirements: * Minimum 3 years of experience as a Site Engineer in civil engineering, ideally on highways and/or earthworks projects. * Proficient in using setting out equipment (Total Station, GPS). * Strong knowledge of drainage systems, road formation, and material testing. * CSCS card (essential). * SMSTS or SSSTS (desirable). * Right to work in the UK.
