Job Title: Powertrain Engineer Duration: 6 Months Location: Surrey (Hybrid) Salary: £40 (Outside IR35) About the role We are looking for an experienced Powertrain engineer on a contract basis to support the development and integration of advanced electrical and electronic systems. Key Responsibilities * Support the integration of powertrain-related electrical/electronic systems within the overall vehicle electrical architecture. * Work on systems including transmission, engine, fuelling, power electronics, cooling systems, HVAC, and user climate control. * Design and develop electrical systems for powertrain functions in line with vehicle requirements, functional safety, and certification standards. * Define distributed system architectures, signal database requirements, and UI-related interactions for powertrain features.
