Travel Consultant

Overview

We are seeking a passionate and knowledgeable Travel Consultant to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will be responsible for assisting clients in planning and booking their travel arrangements, ensuring they have a memorable and enjoyable experience. You will leverage your expertise in destinations worldwide to provide tailored recommendations that meet the unique needs of each client.

Duties

• Engage with clients to understand their travel preferences, budget, and requirements.
• Recommend suitable destinations, accommodations, and activities based on client interests.
• Book flights, hotels, car rentals, and other travel services while ensuring accuracy and attention to detail.
• Provide clients with comprehensive itineraries that include all necessary travel information.
• Stay updated on industry trends, new destinations, and changes in travel regulations.
• Handle any issues or changes in travel plans promptly and efficiently to ensure customer satisfaction.
• Maintain strong relationships with suppliers to secure the best options for clients.
• Promote special offers or packages that may enhance the client\’s travel experience.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years current travel consultant experience.
• Previous experience in travel consulting or a related field is essential with 2 years\’ experience as a travel consultant.
• Excellent communication skills with a focus on customer service.
• Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
• Proficient in using computer systems for booking and managing travel arrangements.
• Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple client requests simultaneously.
• A passion for travel and exploring new destinations is essential.
