We are currently recruiting for Registered Mental Health Nurses for a NHS hospital based in Swindon. You will need to be flexible with shifts. Shift patterns are: 07:00 - 15:00, 13:30 - 21:30, 07:00 - 21:30.

Job Requirements:

  • Experience working in mental health hospitals
  • RMN Qualified
  • NMC (Nursing & Midwifery Council Registered)
  • Experience working in NHS
  • Restraint training
  • DBS on update service (desirable)
  • Good communication and teamwork skills
  • Good at problem-solving and ability to make quick decisions

Key Responsibilities:

  • Ensure that nursing documentation is maintained to the companies standard.
  • Under supervision participate in conducting nursing audit to achieve the agreed standards.
  • Under the supervision of the management team contribute to and participate in the process of setting goals and benchmarking standards of care.
  • In conjunction with the staff team contribute to developing and maintaining a ward/department ethos and provide a standard approach to the delivery of excellent nursing care.
  • Support patients with their everyday needs.
