What You’ll Bring:
The Education People have a fantastic opportunity for a highly organised and proactive individual to join our Supported Employment Service as a Business Support Officer. This role is vital to ensuring the smooth running of business operations, with a focus on administration, finance, CRM systems and supporting communication across the service. You’ll be an integral part of a dynamic team that supports individuals facing barriers to employment, contributing to meaningful change across the community. We’re looking for someone who enjoys working both independently and collaboratively, has excellent IT and communication skills, and thrives in a fast-paced environment.
What You’ll Achieve:
- Maintain and coordinate the team CRM system, ensuring updates are actioned and reports are run and distributed promptly to stakeholders.
- Be the first point of contact for IT and system-related queries across the service.
- Support inbound communications to the Service’s general phone line and mailbox, managing enquiries effectively and consistently.
- Manage all finance-related administrative tasks, including processing payments and claims, and liaising with the central finance team.
- Coordinate and support meetings, events and training sessions – organising venues, refreshments, agendas and taking minutes.
- Assist with marketing efforts, including social media activity and coordination with the central marketing team to produce branded materials.
- Support colleagues by distributing training materials and managing posting and collection logistics.
- Create and maintain documentation including Excel spreadsheets, Word documents and PowerPoint presentations.

What We Require:
- Educated to Level 2 or equivalent practical experience
- Experience in business support or administration
- Proficient in Microsoft Office and CRM systems
- Strong organisational and time-management skills
- Excellent written and verbal communication
- Ability to meet deadlines and work under pressure
- Experience with data entry and maintaining records
- Understanding of GDPR and data confidentiality
- Experience working in partnership with stakeholders
