Proactive Global is currently seeking an SMT Operator to join one of our clients based in SL8.
£14-£16 per hour
Bourne End - SL8
Responsibilities:- Operate computer-controlled surface mount assembly machinery to assemble surface mount technology printed circuit assemblies.
- Monitor the process continuously to ensure high quality using inspection equipment.
- Read machine error messages and troubleshoot placement and printing issues.
- Hand place SMT components accurately onto circuit boards, ensuring correct polarity.
- Set up and de-kit SMT placement machines and configure printing programs on automatic stencil printers.
- Document work order details, including run times, hand fits, and process deviations.
- Read and interpret drawings, diagrams, and bills of materials.
- Maintain high standards of housekeeping.
