We currently have a great opportunity for a Technical Co-Ordinator to join our Network Asset Maintenance team in a Hybrid Position 3 days in the office with 2 working from home.
As the successful candidate, you will be responsible for ensuring that the upfront Design and coordination of work is in place to make sure that our technicians and contracted partners have the pre-requisites in place to allow them to start and complete our capital and Planned maintenance programmes as scheduled.
What you’ll be doing as the Technical Coordinator:
- Being responsible for effectively assisting with the delivery of Health and Safety of all members of the team and those working on the Network.
- Assisting the team to deliver an exceptional service to our customers and ensuring they trust us and the service we provide.
- Keeping a committed drive on following the budgetary and financial activities of the team and suggesting improvements to management.
- Responsible for assisting the performance and delivery of Proactive and Reactive activities under the Assigned Contracts to the division.
- To ensure Framework/Non-Framework Suppliers understand what is expected of them in order to achieve optimal performance.
- Assisting all individuals in the team, ensuring they are motivated and take pride in what they do by developing and agreeing on action plans.
- Delivering successful first-time network service operations by managing the upgrade, repair and replacement of inoperable assets and underperforming assets.
What you should bring to the role:
- Strong skills in operations, maintenance, engineering, finance, H&S, stakeholder engagement and customer focus.
- Relevant experience in coordinating for teams of internal and external stakeholders to deliver Key KPI’s.
- Work with Contracts manager and under own initiative to deliver specified work streams within SLAs.
- Ability to populate overtime usage in a controlled, reportable and fair basis.
- Competent at using appropriate company IT Systems and office-based software with preferable experience in GIS, Watercore, Waternet, Z-One, PI, SCADA, MS Teams.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- High level of attention to detail with the ability to report and track the progress of multiple projects.
- Proactively own either non-available asset issues on high priority assets, complex cases, or out of SLA cases, to attain a resolution.
