Extra Recruitment are currently recruiting for a Junior Merchandiser for their client in Birmingham. The Junior Merchandiser will report directly to the Senior Merchandiser, to work and collaborate with internal and external departments. The Junior Merchandiser role is to support the planning, execution, and analysis of product assortments, stock levels, and sales performance.
Junior Merchandiser responsibilities:
- Support Senior Merchandiser by taking full merchandising responsibility for selected areas within the department
- Support Merchandiser/Senior Merchandiser with preparation of key data for strategy packs, ensuring that all products are attributed correctly
- Prepare detailed analysis for areas of merchandising responsibility, in line with buying timeline
- Work with buying counterparts to prepare strategy for the following season, providing key KPI information to Senior Merchandiser in order for WSSI plans to be prepared
- Ensure all repeat/core lines for stores/web are identified, ensuring that lines are proposed in line with maximum availability & minimising terminal stock on seasonal lines
- Analyse monthly best sellers
- Ensure that all new options are booked in line with the buying timeline, whilst monitoring option plans
- Preparation of ad hoc analysis as required by the buying/merchandising teams
