Are you a patient, passionate, and proactive individual with a desire to support children with special educational needs (SEN)? We are working with a supportive and inclusive primary school in Romford that is seeking dedicated SEN Teaching Assistants to join their team.

The Role:

  • Provide 1:1 and small group support for pupils with SEN (including autism, ADHD, speech & language needs, SEMH).
  • Assist teachers in adapting lessons to meet individual learning needs.
  • Help maintain a positive, inclusive, and safe learning environment.
  • Support pupils with personal care, transitions, and emotional regulation as required.
  • Communicate effectively with teachers, parents, and other professionals.

What We're Looking For:

  • Previous experience in an SEN or classroom support role (school-based or informal).
  • A calm, patient, and nurturing approach to behaviour and emotional needs.
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
  • A genuine passion for supporting pupil development.
  • An Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to obtain one).
