We are working closely with a respected engineering and infrastructure partner to support the NHS Wales estate through its long-term decarbonisation programme. These projects are high-impact, community-focused, and will unfold over the next decade, shaping the way energy is managed in critical public buildings.
The Role
As Site Manager, you’ll be responsible for site-level coordination and delivery on key NHS projects within the South West region. These roles are crucial in delivering the earliest and most visible benefits: lowering carbon emissions, cutting energy waste, and improving resilience.
Responsibilities Include:
- Oversee day-to-day site operations, ensuring safe and efficient delivery of M&E works.
- Supervise subcontractors, suppliers, and logistics planning.
- Implement and manage site-level health and safety procedures.
- Interface with project stakeholders and act as the on-the-ground contact.
- Coordinate with Project Managers, consultants, and NHS representatives to deliver on agreed scope.
- Ensure timely handover, accurate record keeping, and compliance with NHS and Welsh Gov frameworks.
What We’re Looking For:
- Experienced Site Manager with mechanical or electrical bias (depending on PM pairing).
- Experience working in healthcare, public sector, or M&E refurbishment projects ideal.
- Knowledge of sustainable energy retrofits, building fabric improvements, and working in live environments a plus.
- Comfortable working across multiple regional sites with long-term stability.
