An exciting opportunity has arisen with one of our clients – a well-established and rapidly growing contractor operating in the property services sector. They are currently recruiting for a Bid Writer to join their dynamic and collaborative team.
This is a crucial role for the business as you will play a pivotal role in securing high-value contracts and shaping the future direction of the business. You will work closely with subject matter experts, senior leaders, and operational teams to develop compelling, high-quality bid submissions.
Key Responsibilities of the Bid Writer:- Develop innovative, value-adding bid strategies aligned with the company's growth ambitions
- Write, edit, and produce persuasive bid content, including both text and graphics
- Manage the end-to-end bid process, championing best practice in planning, organisation, and brand alignment
- Support the skills development of junior team members
- Coordinate bid input across departments alongside bid administration support
- Contribute to the ongoing improvement of bid processes and strategy
- Build strong relationships across the organisation to ensure seamless collaboration
- Engage in client feedback processes and CRM activities to support continuous improvement
- Experience in a similar role, with a strong track record in successful bid writing and management
- Exceptional written English and attention to detail
- Strong communication and stakeholder engagement skills, including experience working with senior leadership
- Ability to coordinate cross-functional teams and manage multiple deadlines under pressure
