Your Opportunity: Join a thriving, family-run ice cream parlour based on a working dairy farm in Bury. We’ve been serving up fresh Jersey milk ice cream and hot snacks for over four years and are now expanding to include a café and education facility. We’re looking for a hands-on Duty Manager to oversee our busy outdoor kiosk and help lead a small, passionate team. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone with hospitality experience who’s looking for a regular weekend role – with potential for more hours and long-term progression as the business continues to grow.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee the smooth daily running of the ice cream parlour
  • Lead and support a small team to deliver excellent customer service
  • Ensure operational standards and procedures are followed
  • Handle basic administrative tasks and daily checks
  • Support food hygiene and health & safety compliance
  • Be ready to jump in and help wherever needed

Qualifications & Experience Required:

  • Previous experience in hospitality or retail – essential
  • Proven ability to lead or supervise a team
  • Friendly, reliable, and confident working in a customer-facing role
  • Good organisational and communication skills
  • Flexible and willing to get stuck in wherever needed

Benefits:

  • £12.50 – £14.50 per hour depending on experience
  • 16–18 hours per week (Fridays & Saturdays – hours vary by season)
