We are looking for an enthusiastic Qualified Accountant to join a small but growing tax and accountancy practice based in the centre of Nottingham. You will be part of a friendly and passionate small team and manage your own portfolio of personal, corporate and trust clients as well as assisting our business clients with their accounts and VAT.
Responsibilities:
- Manage your own portfolio of clients, including giving advice and handling queries
- Producing accounts based on to FRS105/102 section 1A standards
- Manage own work allocation and time
- Prepare CT computations and returns
- Filing of Confirmation Statements and other Companies House documents
- VAT return preparation and filing
- Dividend & investment planning
The ideal candidate will be:
- ACCA/ ACA Qualified or later stages PQ
- At least 4 years post qualification experience essential
- Must be happy to work within a small team and with at least 60% office time
- Ideally familiar with accounting software (IRIS or similar) and competent in using Excel
