Are you a recent engineering graduate eager to launch your career in mechanical design? Our client, a leading manufacturer of special purpose machinery, is looking for a motivated Graduate Mechanical Engineer to join their dynamic team.

This is an exciting chance for a recent graduate to gain hands-on experience in the design and development of innovative machinery. You will be involved in the full project life cycle - from initial concept through to customer acceptance trials - working alongside experienced engineers and seeing the real-world impact of your work.

Key Responsibilities

  • Assist in the design and development of rotating machinery, drive systems, linear motion systems, automation, and safety guarding
  • Create 3D models and detailed engineering drawings using Solid Edge CAD software
  • Contribute to the development of new machine concepts and custom solutions
  • Collaborate with suppliers and the in-house production team
  • Take ownership of smaller projects under the guidance of senior engineers
  • Provide technical support and application guidance to customers, helping them get the most from the equipment

About You

  • Recently completed a BSc or MSc in Mechanical Engineering (or related discipline), achieving a 2:1 or above
  • Strong ability to apply engineering principles and concepts
  • Passionate about mechanical design and problem-solving
  • Eager to learn and take on technical challenges
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills
