This luxury independent travel company is expanding their team and looking for a Latin America Travel Specialist to join them. This role will be curating tailor-made luxury travel itineraries including flights, hotels, tours, and excursions for clients using local DMCs and completing the whole process end to end. This unique role will focus on Latin America but will also assist with other worldwide enquiries including Asia and Africa, building rapport with clients and suppliers while offering the highest level of service.
This role offers a salary up to £30k plus excellent commission circa £60k and can be fully home-based, working Mon-Fri 9am-5.30pm with occasional weekends when required.
Responsibilities:- To plan and sell bespoke tailor-made travel itineraries around South America, including some Asia and Africa.
- To take 'ownership' of the entire holiday process from booking through to completion, including sending confirmations and documentation.
- Work to and achieve/exceed personal and company sales targets.
- Complete work to a high standard and prioritise a busy workload.
- Essential knowledge of Latin America; strong Asia and Africa experience would be considered.
- Experience of tailor-making holidays, ideally luxury holidays, having worked in a Tour Operator or Tailormade Travel company.
- Sales focused along with providing an excellent level of customer service.
- Excellent organisational skills.
Additional information: Paying up to £30k OTE around £60k plus. Home-based. Working Monday – Friday 9-5.30 with occasional weekends.
