These positions are long term with the opportunity for training and progression. ***No Experience Required as full training will be provided.*** The Quality Inspector Role; * Following Safe Working Practices and Health & Safety guidelines * Packaging of finished product to customer specifications * Working to production and quality schedules * Working as a team to ensure customer expectations are exceeded * Carrying out visual, dimensional and hardness checks on the extruded profiles. * Performing Tensile tests on material as and when required * Performing bending test for material 6101 * Performing electrical conductivity report * Performing calibration of internal equipment * Verification of complaints and relaying the information to the quality manager * Liaising with the die shop staff and production manager when material does not conform to the standards. * Daily update of the record of certificates of conformity. * Putting in the Libra system the chemical composition of the billets. * Scraping material when necessary. * Cleaning quality areas when necessary. * Making the certificates of conformity to deliver to the customer The Quality Inspector Candidate; * Previous experience is not necessary as full training will be given * Highly motivated and driven * Able to commit to a rotating shift patten * Ability to comply with Health and Safety on site * Ensuring all Personal Protective Equipment (provided) is used correctly If you are interested in this opportunity please apply directly through this website or call (phone number removed)
