Are you an experienced Professional Indemnity lawyer with a strong construction focus, looking to make your mark in the Liverpool legal market? A prestigious Top 50 UK law firm is seeking a Senior Associate (5+ PQE) to join its highly regarded Professional Indemnity team in Liverpool. With a strong pipeline of high-profile work and a reputation for excellence in insurance litigation, this is an outstanding opportunity for a PI specialist to step into a key leadership role.

You will act for leading national and international insurers, defending claims brought against construction professionals including architects, engineers, design & build contractors, and surveyors. The role offers a mix of autonomy, support, and career progression in a collaborative, well-established team.

What You’ll Be Doing:

  • Managing complex, high-value professional indemnity claims, often with a construction focus.
  • Acting in litigated matters in the TCC and other courts, as well as mediations and arbitrations.
  • Advising insurers on coverage and strategy.
  • Supervising and mentoring junior lawyers and contributing to team development.
  • Supporting business development and maintaining client relationships.

What We’re Looking For:

  • UK qualified solicitor with 5+ years’ PQE in professional indemnity litigation.
  • Strong experience defending construction-related claims.
  • Commercially minded with excellent written and verbal communication.
