Are you a detail-oriented individual with a passion for numbers? Our client, a leading logistics provider, is seeking an Accounts Clerk to join their growing and dynamic team in Bridgend. In this role, you’ll be responsible for managing day-to-day financial transactions, processing purchase ledger invoices, maintaining accurate records, and supporting financial reporting. It’s a fantastic opportunity to make a real impact in a fast-paced and expanding business.
Key Responsibilities:
- Process and reconcile purchase ledger invoices
- Handle supplier queries
- Perform bank and statement reconciliations
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date financial records
- Support sales ledger and credit control during staff absence
- Assist the Financial Controller with financial reporting
- Carry out ad hoc finance administration tasks
Requirements:
- Minimum 1 year’s experience in accounting or bookkeeping (essential)
- Excellent organisational and communication skills
- A proactive “can-do” attitude and willingness to support the wider finance team
- Proficiency in accounting software (Sage 50 and/or Sage 200 preferred)
- Good working knowledge of Microsoft Excel
