We’re currently working with an established and well-respected fire safety consultancy that is seeking a Fire Risk Assessor to join their growing team. This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced assessor to secure a rewarding, well-balanced role offering regional work, a competitive salary package, and a true work-life balance.

Key Benefits:

  • 4-Day Work Week: Site-based assessments Monday to Thursday only. Fridays are reserved for report writing (or take the day off if your work is done—no admin, no problem).
  • Modern Tools Provided: iPad loaded with Fire Assessment App for efficient onsite reporting and same-day completion.
  • Regional Assignments Only: Say goodbye to long-distance travel—your work will be based within a manageable region.
  • Competitive Package:
  • Basic Salary: £40,000 – £55,000 (dependent on experience)

Required Qualifications and Experience:

To be considered for this role, candidates must:

  • Have hands-on experience completing Fire Risk Assessments across a range of property types.
  • Hold a recognised professional fire safety qualification from one of the following:
  • Fire Protection Association (FPA)
  • Fire Industry Association (FIA)
  • Institute of Fire Engineers (IFE)
  • NEBOSH Certificate in Fire Safety

Career Development & Additional Training:

After a 6-month probation period, additional funded training will be available, including:

  • P402 – Asbestos Surveying
  • P901/P903 – Legionella Risk Assessment
  • NEBOSH General Certificate
