Are you passionate about helping young children thrive through personalised learning? We are currently seeking a dedicated and nurturing 1:1 Early Years Tutor to support a young learner in Salisbury. This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced Early Years professional or qualified tutor to make a meaningful difference in a child’s development.

About the Role:

As a 1:1 Early Years Tutor, you will be working with a child aged 3–5 years, delivering tailored learning support in line with the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) framework. Your sessions will be creative, engaging, and designed to build confidence, communication, and early literacy/numeracy skills.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Plan and deliver individualised learning activities that meet the child’s developmental needs.
  • Use play-based and multi-sensory approaches to engage the learner.
  • Track progress and adapt teaching strategies accordingly.
  • Collaborate with parents/carers and, where applicable, other professionals.
  • Create a safe, inclusive, and supportive learning environment.

Requirements:

  • Relevant Early Years or education qualification (Level 3+ or QTS preferred).
  • Experience working with young children in a 1:1 or small group setting.
  • A nurturing, patient, and flexible approach to teaching.
  • Enhanced DBS check (or willingness to obtain one).
  • Excellent communication and organisational skills.

Desirable:

  • SEN experience or training
  • Knowledge of EYFS tracking tools or early intervention strategies
