Pay: £90 - £110 per day (Depending on experience)

GSL Education are looking for an Experienced Learning Support Assistant (EYFS & KS1) to join a lovely school in Bexhill. In this role, you will be helping young children in the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) and Key Stage 1 (KS1). Your support will help them feel happy, safe, and ready to learn every day.

About the Role:

As an Experienced LSA (EYFS & KS1), you will work closely with the teacher to support children in the classroom. You will help with learning tasks, encourage good behaviour, and make sure each child gets the help they need. You may also support small groups or work 1:1 with children who need extra help.

What You Will Do:

  • Help the teacher in the classroom with day-to-day learning.
  • Support children with their reading, writing, and number work.
  • Work 1:1 or with small groups who need extra help.
  • Encourage children to try their best and praise their efforts.
  • Help manage behaviour in a calm and kind way.
  • Make the classroom a fun and safe place for all children.

What We’re Looking For:

  • Must have previous experience as a LSA working with EYFS or KS1 children.
  • A kind, patient, and positive attitude.
  • Good communication and teamwork skills.
  • Someone who enjoys helping young children grow and learn.
  • A CV that shows your last 10 years of work (with no unexplained gaps).
  • An enhanced DBS on the update service (or willing to apply for one with GSL Education).
