About the Role: We are currently seeking a skilled and motivated Mechanical Design Engineer with solid experience in Building Services, specifically within HVAC systems and office fit-out projects. You will play a key role in the design, coordination, and delivery of mechanical services across a range of commercial projects, ensuring high standards and compliance throughout.
Key Responsibilities:
- Produce and manage mechanical design calculations and layouts for HVAC systems
- Prepare and review technical drawings using AutoCAD and Revit
- Generate detailed validation reports and ensure design compliance with building regulations and project specifications
- Collaborate closely with internal teams, contractors, and clients to ensure smooth project delivery
- Participate in client meetings, site inspections, and design reviews
- Support and mentor junior engineers where necessary
Requirements:
- Proven experience in mechanical building services design, particularly in HVAC and commercial office fit-outs
- Proficient in AutoCAD and Revit
- Strong understanding of building services regulations and standards
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to produce accurate and thorough validation reports
- Comfortable working independently and as part of a team
Working Arrangement: We strongly prefer candidates who are happy to work in the office 5 days per week. However, up to 2 days working from home may be considered for the right individual.
