We’re looking for a highly skilled field service engineer to join a leading name in the CNC machine tool sector. This role is primarily focused on machine installation and commissioning, ensuring customers experience a seamless setup and optimal machine performance. You’ll also provide ongoing service and maintenance support, helping to minimise downtime and maximise efficiency. Key responsibilities
- Install and commission CNC machine tools at customer sites, ensuring full functionality and compliance with specifications.
- Troubleshoot and resolve mechanical, electrical, and control system issues during installation and in-service calls.
- Provide operator training and technical guidance, ensuring customers can effectively use and maintain their machines.
- Perform routine servicing and preventive maintenance to extend equipment lifespan and reduce unexpected breakdowns.
- Collaborate with internal teams to optimise installation processes and improve overall service efficiency.
