My client, a luxury interiors manufacturer, is seeking a Kitchen Designer to support multiple showrooms across the South East. Based out of the Watford office, you will serve as the dedicated kitchen expert, overseeing and managing kitchen enquiries across various locations.
As a Regional Kitchen Designer, you will be a key member of the Retail Showroom Team, responsible for designing and selling made-to-order kitchens. Working across multiple locations within the South East region, you’ll apply your design expertise, product knowledge, and customer-focused approach to help clients realise their ideal kitchen space. This role requires regular travel, so a full UK driving license is essential.
Key Responsibilities:- Welcome and engage clients within showroom kitchen display areas
- Qualify and develop kitchen enquiries passed on by showroom colleagues
- Conduct client consultations both in-person and remotely via Teams/Zoom
- Recommend suitable product ranges and finishes based on the client's brief, specifications, and budget
- Prepare accurate quotations and manage customer payments
- Identify when to involve the in-house design service and coordinate accordingly
- Use internal systems (e.g., SAP) to manage quotations, orders, and customer data
- Support showroom teams with kitchen-related enquiries and ongoing training
- Ensure all kitchen leads within your allocated showrooms are followed up effectively
- Deliver regular product and range training to showroom colleagues to drive lead generation
- Manage your workload across multiple showrooms independently and efficiently
- Provide regular updates to the Showroom Manager on lead progression, sales, and aftersales status
- Participate in ongoing training and development
- Proven experience in kitchen design and sales (preferably in a retail or premium setting)
- Strong interpersonal and customer service skills
- Excellent organisational and time management capabilities
- Proficiency in virtual communication platforms and design software
- Commercial awareness and a proactive, solution-oriented mindset
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively as part of a team
- Full UK driving license is essential
