We are working with a company based in Near Enfield, Greater London who are seeking an experienced and ambitious Contracts Manager to join their team. This full-time, permanent position involves overseeing projects from inception to completion, ensuring they are delivered on time, within budget, and to the highest standards. You will manage a variety of maintenance tasks, ranging in size and value, for prestigious commercial properties across central London and the surrounding areas.
Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare tenders and commercial bids to help bring in new business.
- Develop and present project proposals.
- Meet with clients to understand their requirements.
- Produce plans and estimate budgets and timescales.
- Discuss, draft, review, and negotiate the terms of business contracts.
- Manage construction schedules and budgets.
- Attend site meetings to monitor progress.
- Act as the main point of contact for clients, site, and project managers.
- Ensure all projects comply with health and safety regulations.
- Oversee invoicing at the end of a project.
Hours: 7:30-17:00 Monday to Friday
Qualifications and Experience:
- At least 3 years' experience in contract management, preferably within commercial property maintenance.
- A trade background is preferred but not essential.
- Strong organizational and time management skills.
- A positive approach to problem-solving and health and safety practices.
- Ability to work independently and meet deadlines.
- Full UK driving licence and the ability to commute to Potters Bar.
Salary and Benefits:
- Salary - £50,000 - £52,000 per annum
