Quantity Surveyor

PCR are currently looking for a Quantity Surveyor with NEC 4 experience – long term cable and groundworks project Future Build are currently searching for a Freelance Quantity Surveyor with a good understanding of NEC 4 contracts to work for family-owned utilities and civils contractor based in Surrey. The company have recently commenced work on a large datacentre project in London where they are installing cabling from point of connection to source as well as associated groundworks packages. As the Quantity Surveyor for this project, you will be responsible for managing all aspects of cost control, including preparing Bills of Quantities, managing change events, cost planning, cost management, and cost reporting. Day-to-day tasks include estimating project costs, monitoring expenditures, preparing financial reports, and ensuring projects remain within budget. The role is based 4 days a week in their offices near Leatherhead with 1 day from home. Ideally, we are seeking candidates who can commit to this assignment for the full duration of the project which is due to last until the end of 2026.
