What you will be doing as the NPI Engineer
- Managing customer technical enquiries and reviewing documentation
- Translating customer requirements into precise product specifications
- Preparing business cases and presenting to senior management
- Overseeing all phases of the NPI process, from prototype to production
- Ensuring accurate completion of all project documentation
- Attending customer meetings (remotely and occasionally in person)
- Supporting products throughout their lifecycle, including troubleshooting and assisting quality investigations
What you'll need to apply for the NPI Engineer
- Extensive experience in new product introduction (NPI) within manufacturing
- A degree in Mechanical Engineering, Materials Science, Manufacturing Engineering, Metallurgy, Aerospace Engineering, or similar
- Customer-facing experience, ideally within NPI
- Good project management skills
- CAD experience is desirable
