What you will be doing as the NPI Engineer

  • Managing customer technical enquiries and reviewing documentation
  • Translating customer requirements into precise product specifications
  • Preparing business cases and presenting to senior management
  • Overseeing all phases of the NPI process, from prototype to production
  • Ensuring accurate completion of all project documentation
  • Attending customer meetings (remotely and occasionally in person)
  • Supporting products throughout their lifecycle, including troubleshooting and assisting quality investigations

What you'll need to apply for the NPI Engineer

  • Extensive experience in new product introduction (NPI) within manufacturing
  • A degree in Mechanical Engineering, Materials Science, Manufacturing Engineering, Metallurgy, Aerospace Engineering, or similar
  • Customer-facing experience, ideally within NPI
  • Good project management skills
  • CAD experience is desirable
