Are you a driven and experienced Health & Safety Manager looking to work with one of the UK’s leading Tier 1 main contractors? We’re recruiting on behalf of a nationally recognised construction business renowned for delivering high-profile projects across commercial, education, and healthcare sectors.

This is a fantastic opportunity to join a forward-thinking contractor that prioritises safety, innovation, and continuous development.

The Role: As Health & Safety Manager, you’ll be responsible for managing and developing health, safety, and environmental standards across multiple live projects throughout the North East. You’ll act as a key advisor to operational teams, ensuring best practices are implemented and maintained at all times.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Driving a positive HSE culture across all sites
  • Conducting site inspections, audits, and risk assessments
  • Supporting project teams with safety planning and compliance
  • Producing and reviewing RAMS, incident reports, and HSE documentation
  • Keeping up to date with UK legislation and industry standards

What We’re Looking For:

  • NEBOSH Construction Certificate (minimum)
  • Experience working on large-scale construction projects, ideally with a Tier 1 contractor
  • Up-to-date knowledge of CDM Regulations and current H&S legislation
  • Strong communication and leadership skills
  • Full UK driving licence
