We’re recruiting on behalf of a nationally recognised construction business renowned for delivering high-profile projects across commercial, education, and healthcare sectors.

The Role: As Health & Safety Manager, you’ll be responsible for managing and developing health, safety, and environmental standards across multiple live projects throughout the North East. You’ll act as a key advisor to operational teams, ensuring best practices are implemented and maintained at all times.
Key responsibilities include:
- Driving a positive HSE culture across all sites
- Conducting site inspections, audits, and risk assessments
- Supporting project teams with safety planning and compliance
- Producing and reviewing RAMS, incident reports, and HSE documentation
- Keeping up to date with UK legislation and industry standards
What We’re Looking For:
- NEBOSH Construction Certificate (minimum)
- Experience working on large-scale construction projects, ideally with a Tier 1 contractor
- Up-to-date knowledge of CDM Regulations and current H&S legislation
- Strong communication and leadership skills
- Full UK driving licence
