Job Title: EAL Teacher

Pay: £162.89- 212.39 per day

Josh of Aspire People is seeking a passionate and experienced EAL (English as an Additional Language) Teacher to join a dynamic, inclusive all-through school.
You will be supporting both primary and secondary learners.

This role is ideal for someone who is committed to breaking down language barriers and improving access to the curriculum for pupils who are new to English or developing fluency.

Key Responsibilities:

Deliver targeted EAL interventions to small groups and individual students across KS1-KS4.

Focus on supporting Polish, Romanian, Russian and Telegu-speaking students.

Collaborate with class and subject teachers to adapt resources and scaffold lessons appropriately.

Monitor student progress and contribute to EAL assessments and reports.

Build strong relationships with EAL families to support engagement and inclusion.

The Ideal Candidate Will Have:

Qualified Teacher Status – intervention experience

Previous experience teaching or supporting EAL learners in a school settings.

Strong understanding of second language acquisition (Polish, Romanian, Russian or Telegu) and differentiated teaching strategies.

Ability to work effectively across primary and secondary age ranges.

Patience, cultural sensitivity, and excellent communication skills.

TEFL/TESOL or EAL-specific qualifications (desirable but not essential).

An enhanced DBS (or willingness to obtain one).
