Junior Logistics Controller-up to 26K Birtley Looking to recruit a junior logistics controller to support the logistics team in an extremely busy transport/logistics office overseeing the schedule of the engineers. This would be initially a junior role which will provide full support to the head controller.  Main Responsibilities:- Planning and monitoring inbound and outbound deliveries Negotiating and securing transportation rates Coordinating with vendors, suppliers, and engineers rota  Planning and managing inventory control. Ensuring warehouse, transportation, and customer services work in unity and meet their commitments. Tracking and fixing transport errors. Preparing and maintaining detailed logistics documentation and reporting. Implementing new projects and strategies to improve logistical efficiency. Complying with all company, local, state, and federal transportation regulations. Free on-site parking
