Temp to Perm position Cabin Fitter / Modular Building Assembler / Joiner £14ph training rate (other rate to be discussed) Location: Factory-based role Role Overview: We are seeking a skilled individual to join an established team for the assembly and erection of portable and modular buildings within a factory environment. This role involves working with steel frames, bolting walls, installing roof panels, and completing the fit-out with windows, doors, and partitioning. You will work in pairs and sometimes collaborate with other team members, especially for lifting tasks, such as positioning roof panels. Some work will be performed at heights. Key Requirements: * Physically fit and healthy, able to handle manual tasks. * Hours: Monday-Thursday, 8:00 am – 4:30 pm; Friday, 8:00 am – 3:00 pm (30 min lunch break daily). * Permanent position with training and mentoring provided. * Starting rate: £13 per hour during training – (this to be discussed at interview) * Proficiency in using power tools, bench saws, and cross-cut saws. * Desirable: FLT license and NVQ in Joinery – although not essential. * Potential for occasional site work with overnight stays as needed.
