Duties:

  • Support day-to-day portfolio management, including portfolio construction, asset allocation, investment selection, and reporting.
  • Ensure portfolios remain aligned with client objectives and internal investment strategies.
  • Assist with managing cash flows and liquidity across portfolios.
  • Maintain portfolio management systems and ensure data accuracy.
  • Join client meetings and participate in pitches and portfolio discussions.
  • Monitor and execute trades in line with client requirements.
  • Provide investment research and due diligence on multi-asset strategies.
  • Assist in designing bespoke portfolios for prospects based on model allocations.
  • Take part in team initiatives and represent the team in wider business projects.

Requirements:

  • 3–7 years of experience in a junior or assistant portfolio management role.
  • Broad asset class coverage (Equities experience essential).
  • Fund research experience.
  • Solid academic background, ideally in finance, economics, or a related field.
  • Progression towards CFA designation or other relevant investment qualifications preferred.
  • Client-facing experience, with the ability to build strong relationships.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
