Red Recruitment Group are recruiting for Class 1 Drivers for a leading client based in Wigan.
8-10 hour shifts. Start times available. Day rate £150.00-£185.00 per hour. The work will involve trunking/multi-drop deliveries throughout the UK, usually 1-3 movements per shift with curtain side/box trailers.
The ideal candidate will hold the following skills and experience:
- Must hold a valid UK driving license with C+E entitlement
- Digital tachograph and CPC cards
- Be professional at all times
- Have a flexible approach to work
- No more than 6 points on your license
- Flexible to night out occasionally
Shift Pattern: PM/AM drivers for Monday - Friday, Tuesday-Saturday or Sunday - Thursday.
As an HGV Class 1 Driver, you will be responsible for the safe and efficient transportation of goods across various routes. Reporting to the Logistics Manager, your core skills in driving and commercial driving will be essential in ensuring timely deliveries. With a Category CE Licence and a strong background in delivery driving, you will navigate diverse terrains, including flatbed operations. Your attention to detail and commitment to safety will contribute to our organisation's reputation for reliability and excellence in service.
