ASSISTANT ACCOUNTANT LOCATION: Swindon SALARY: £30,000 plus full benefits package JOB TYPE: Permanent – Monday to Friday Role Purpose As an Assistant Accountant, you will assist the Management Accountant in the production of accounts. Your key responsibilities as our Assistant Accountant will include: * Keeping and reconciling cashbook, cash sales ledger & asset register. * To maintain up to date reconciliations of nominal ledger accounts. * To assist the Management Accountant in the production & maintenance of the accounts. * To assist the Management Accountant in ensuring that the company procedures are followed by staff and suppliers and that continuing improvements are made. * To assist with the audit process. * To raise payments on our banking software for approval. * To perform other tasks which may be required to be undertaken by the Finance department.
