A prominent organisation in the region is looking for a seasoned technology leader to drive enterprise-wide transformation and lead the development of a future-focused architecture strategy. This role sits at the intersection of business and technology, with a mandate to reimagine operations, enable innovation, and deliver measurable business outcomes through modern, scalable solutions.
Responsibilities
- Define and lead the technology transformation roadmap, aligning with enterprise strategic goals.
- Assess digital maturity across the business and establish initiatives to accelerate digital adoption.
- Collaborate with executive leadership to integrate technology capabilities into business strategies.
- Oversee enterprise and business architecture across data, application, technology, and process layers.
- Establish architecture models, frameworks, standards, and governance practices.
- Develop and communicate technology vision and strategy across all levels of the organization.
- Lead a high-performing team of enterprise architects, business architects, and innovation leads.
- Identify and incubate innovation opportunities, including AI-driven solutions via Centers of Excellence.
- Stay ahead of emerging technologies and assess their relevance to the business.
- Create business capability models, value stream maps, journey maps, and investment roadmaps to guide technology decisions.
- Champion a culture of innovation, transformation, and cross-functional collaboration.
- Act as a key advisor to senior stakeholders on enterprise technology decisions and investments.
Requirements
- 15+ years of experience in IT leadership roles, with a strong focus on enterprise architecture and transformation.
- 8+ years of experience across multiple architecture domains (business, data, solution, infrastructure).
- 4+ years of experience in solution development, technical architecture, and application integration.
- Proven track record of leading large-scale digital and technology transformation programs.
- Strong knowledge of enterprise architecture frameworks such as TOGAF, Zachman, or similar.
- Experience in innovation strategy, including the development and scaling of Centers of Excellence.
- Familiarity with modern technology stacks, including SaaS, PaaS, APIs, microservices, and predictive analytics.
- Strong strategic planning, program management, and stakeholder engagement capabilities.
- Highly effective communicator with experience influencing at senior leadership and board levels.
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Business, or related field.
- Relevant certifications in enterprise architecture and/or program management preferred.
- Experience in retail or consumer-facing sectors is advantageous.
