Position: Permanent, Monday to Friday – Hybrid Working Location: Belfast Salary: Competitive, with an attractive benefits package + EV Car Key Responsibilities: We are seeking to appoint an Operations Manager for a thriving industry, one that continues to grow exponentially as the attractiveness and government legislation around electric vehicles continues to drive demand for more EVs and EV charging points the across the country. The role will involve the planning and delivery of new EV projects while ensuring the continually reliability of the charging network. You will oversee all business operations which include, procurement, project management, installation, commissioning and maintenance. Customer Success: Develop and implement strategies to enhance customer satisfaction and retention. Serve as the main point of contact for customer escalations and ensure timely resolution of issues. Gather customer feedback to inform service improvements and innovations. Team Management: Lead, mentor, and motivate a team of engineers and support staff. Foster a collaborative and high-performance culture, ensuring team members are well-equipped to meet objectives. Project Planning: Oversee project planning, execution, and delivery of EV charging infrastructure projects. Coordinate with cross-functional teams to ensure timely and within-budget project completion. Onboard new subcontractors and oversee during the construction phase. Quality Control: Establish and enforce quality assurance processes to ensure the highest standards in service delivery. Conduct regular audits and performance evaluations to identify areas for improvement. Manage the maintenance of the charging estate in line with the uptime requirements and company KPI’s. Commercial Management: Analyse financial data and operational metrics to drive profitability and identify cost-saving opportunities. Collaborate with sales and marketing teams to develop strategies that enhance market presence and customer acquisition. IT System Management: Oversee the management and optimization of IT systems supporting operations and customer service. Ensure data integrity, system reliability, and user training for all relevant staff. General: Stay updated on the latest industry trends, regulations, and technological advancements in the EV charging domain. Act as a brand ambassador, promoting our products and services to customers and stakeholders. Ensure compliance with safety standards and procedures. Prepare reports for the COO on operational performance and expenditure. Proven experience (5+ years) in operations management, preferably within the EV or renewable energy sector. Strong understanding of commercial and financial principles. Excellent leadership and team management skills. Proven project management experience with strong organizational abilities. Familiarity with IT systems and data management practices. Exceptional problem-solving and analytical skills. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
