£12.86 - £13.08 per hour

About the role:
Each day as a Care Assistant is different. You will assist with all aspects of personal care and support for the people we support within the setting. Undertake personal care duties as required to the relevant client group which will typically include toileting, washing, feeding and manual handling (including hoisting) and transfer. Undertake domestic tasks, such as cleaning and laundry. Support the relevant client group in a way that maintains dignity and privacy. Participate in the maintenance of essential record keeping, through brief written recording on individual client records. Comply with Health and Safety requirements in respect of manual handling and transfer hoisting and the use of protective equipment to aid infection control. You would be expected to work within the Gold Standards Framework.
About you:
- Previous experience as a Care Assistant or in a similar role is preferred but not essential as training and ongoing support will be provided.
- A compassionate and caring nature with a genuine desire to help others
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Flexible to work various shifts, including evenings, weekends and bank holidays
