Field Service Engineer

We’re recruiting on behalf of a leading manufacturer of high-performance power test equipment, that are used across mission-critical industries worldwide. You’ll join a dedicated Customer Support team, delivering technical support, commissioning, repairs, and maintenance—both remotely and on-site. Key Responsibilities: * Provide technical support via phone, email, remote access, and site visits. * Diagnose and repair electro-mechanical systems down to component level. * Commission, test, and deliver training for products at customer locations globally. * Manage and resolve warranty claims efficiently. * Generate service documentation: reports, fault analysis, risk assessments, etc. * Support sales team with service quotations and identify improvement opportunities. * Ensure compliance with health & safety and quality standards. Requirements: * Minimum ONC or equivalent in Electrical Engineering. * 5+ years’ experience in a technical service/support role with international travel. * Background in industrial control systems and fault-finding. * Excellent communication, organisational, and problem-solving skills. * IT literate – confident with MS Office; SAP experience beneficial. * Valid UK driving licence and passport essential. * Formal engineering training or apprenticeship preferred.
