Vacancy Brief:
- The vacancy is that of a Night Young People Support Worker.
- This is a temp vacancy with 35-40 hours P/W for initially three months.
- This post will be shift-based.
- Night Shifts are 20:15pm β 07:45am (some weekends required depending on rota) 4 shifts on 4 shifts off.
- Candidates must be flexible to work throughout the week.
- The pay rate for this job is Β£17.72 per hour on PAYE OR Β£20.44 Umbrella.
- Full UK Driverβs License and access to a vehicle is preferable.
- A current Enhanced DBS covering Child and Adult workforce will be required for this job role.
- Service User group is 16 β 18 or up to 21 if leaving care.
The Responsibilities:
- As a Young People Support Worker, you will provide front-line support work 1-2-1 with one or two young people in a home environment.
- In your job role as a Young People Support worker, you will be supporting young people to enhance their independent living skills.
- Part of your job role as a Young People Support worker will be to tailor person-centred action plans based upon any needs identified.
- An important part of your job role will be to offer support and guidance to young people throughout, empowering them to be independent.
- Furthermore, you will be keeping documents and paper trails up to date and within this documenting all support with the YP within their dedicated support file.
