Manufacturing Engineer

Key Responsibilities: * Support the Senior Manufacturing Engineer in day-to-day improvements across production. * Provide engineering input into New Product Introduction (NPI) processes. * Troubleshoot and resolve manufacturing issues using Practical Problem Solving (PPS) techniques. * Lead root cause analysis and drive robust corrective actions. * Facilitate engineering change requests between production and design. * Promote a \”right first time\” culture and champion lean practices. * Develop and improve Standard Operating Procedures and job instructions. * Use data to support decision-making and performance tracking. * Identify and implement process improvements to reduce waste and improve flow. Requirements: * HNC or equivalent qualification in Engineering. * Minimum 2 years’ experience in a manufacturing or production environment. * Understanding of lean methodologies and hands-on problem-solving. * Comfortable working with manufacturing documentation and procedures. * Strong communication and interpersonal skills across all business levels. * Computer literate (Excel, PowerPoint, Word); confident working with data. * Organised, proactive, and passionate about process improvement.
