Rubicon Consulting is currently recruiting for a HSE Advisor on a 12 month contract based in Dunbar - Accommodational and travel allowance.
Role Summary
- Implement EHS management systems across operational projects and office locations.
- Provide guidance on EHS regulations, standards, and industry best practices to enhance performance.
- Integrate sustainability and environmental considerations into EHS practices and ensure compliance with regulations.
- Maintain and develop EHS competence in line with changes in legislation and industry standards.
- Promote a positive EHS culture through effective communication and involvement of all stakeholders.
- Monitor EHS performance through audits, inspections, and regular reporting of statistics and incidents.
Requirements
- Professional qualifications in health, safety, and environment (e.g., NEBOSH, IEMA).
- EHS auditor qualifications with practical experience (e.g., 45001/14001/90001 Internal or Lead Auditor).
- Strong knowledge of EHS regulations, standards, and sustainability practices.
- Understanding of CDM regulations and Electricity Mechanical Safety Rules.
- Ability to engage and influence stakeholders at all levels, with strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Adaptability to a dynamic work environment and a full UK driving license.
