What will I be doing?

In this new role, as a key part of the finance team, supporting the Finance Manager, you’ll focus on delivering accurate and timely financial reporting while driving process improvements. Your core responsibilities will include:

  • Overseeing credit control for a ledger of more than 400 customers, with a key focus on minimising aged debt.
  • Building and maintaining excellent customer relationships.
  • Supporting month-end reporting and reconciliations.
  • Preparing and posting journals, including accruals and prepayments.
  • Helping to enhance financial reporting and strengthen internal controls.
  • Collaborating across finance and operational teams to boost efficiency and align with business goals.
  • Implementing process improvements.

About you:

To succeed in this role, you should have a solid background in credit control and managing complex ledgers, with a proactive and organised approach to working in a fast-paced environment. Whether you are studying towards your AAT qualification, which will be fully supported here, or consider yourself qualified by experience, we welcome both. Strong communication skills with customers and internal teams, attention to detail, a hands-on attitude, and proficiency in Excel and accounting systems are essential.
