Junior Management Accountant

Junior Management Accountant (Automotive Industry) £35,000 – £40,000 negotiable depending on experience Horsham, West Sussex Permanent/Full Time Working Hours: Monday to Friday (8am – 5pm) Our client, a leading company in the bus and coach industry renowned for its engineering excellence and innovation, is expanding its team. They are looking for a Junior Management Accountant to join their busy accounts team. This is an exciting opportunity for a finance professional looking to develop their career in a friendly, dynamic and fast-paced environment. This role would suit an experienced assistant accountant looking for their first Management Accountant position. Reporting directly to the Chief Financial Officer you will be fully trained in producing full sets of management accounts, VAT returns and budgets. Duties & Responsibilities: * Preparation of monthly management accounts and financial reports * Support budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis * Maintain accurate financial records and reconciliations * Collaborate with internal departments to ensure cost control and financial accuracy * Assist with audits and compliance reporting * Contribute to process improvements and financial system enhancements Experience & Skills: * Qualified by Experience / AAT qualified or part-qualified ACCA/CIMA (or equivalent) * Previous experience in a finance or accounting role at assistant accountant level * Accounts experience within the Automotive Industry (Highly desirable) * Strong numerical and analytical skills * Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and accounting software.
