You’ll join a dynamic and fast-paced procurement function that blends strategic vision with hands-on delivery. As part of the global category team, you will be responsible for shaping and executing sourcing strategies across a £multi-million packaging spend, collaborating with regional procurement leads, and building strong supplier partnerships that underpin the business’s innovation and environmental goals.

This prestigious blue chip FMCG are offering up to £70,000 + a bonus of 10% which can reach up to 20% dependent on performance variables. They are based in West London and offer hybrid working.
Key Responsibilities:- Design and implement global sourcing strategies for packaging related spend.
- Drive cost savings and sustainability targets through strategic sourcing and supplier development.
- Conduct market analysis, identify new suppliers, and lead contract negotiations.
- Build and manage supplier relationships, including performance metrics and innovation roadmaps.
- Collaborate with regional procurement teams to ensure aligned execution and continuous improvement.
- Support forecasting, budgeting, and commodity coverage strategy.
- Circa 4+ years of direct procurement experience, ideally within FMCG or food manufacturing.
- Strong category knowledge within packaging, preferably within flexibles, films, plastics etc.
- Demonstrated ability to work in global, matrixed procurement structures.
- Excellent cross-functional collaboration skills and experience working with R&D and Sustainability teams.
- Data-driven and analytical approach, with strong cost modelling and Excel capability.
- Proven negotiation skills and ability to manage supplier performance.
- Degree qualified (CIPS or MCIPS desirable); other languages a plus.
