Site Engineer

Vacancy: Freelance Site Engineer/ Setting Out Engineer

Unite People are working with specialist civils & construction contractor to hire a freelance Site Engineer to work on a project in West Yorkshire.

Working with a ground-works subcontractor; you will be required to set out and manage QA package for roads sewers, plots and spine roads for new build residential units.

Qualifications or Required Experience:

• CSCS Card
• HND, HNC or Civil Engineering degree is preferred
• Previous experience as an Engineer, setting out of ground-works packages. preferably new build residential ground-works.
• Ability to work under deadlines, organising and prioritising deadlines to meet construction programme targets
• Understanding of setting out, using and EDM/ Total station.
• Preferably provide laptop and surveying software
