Key Responsibilities Lead and support the Baby Room team in providing high-quality care and education. Create a nurturing and stimulating environment that meets the developmental needs of babies. Plan, implement, and evaluate age-appropriate activities to promote learning and growth. Ensure compliance with safeguarding policies and EYFS regulations. Monitor and track children\βs development, providing regular feedback to parents/carers. Foster positive relationships with families, ensuring strong communication and engagement. Maintain a safe, clean, and welcoming environment, following health and safety guidelines. Work collaboratively with the management team to uphold nursery standards and values. Requirements β Level 3 Early Years Qualification (or above) β Essential. β Previous experience as a Room Leader or Senior Practitioner β Desirable. β Strong understanding of the EYFS framework and safeguarding practices. β Excellent leadership skills β Ability to mentor, support, and inspire a team. β Passionate about childcare β Committed to providing exceptional early years education. β Strong communication skills β Confident liaising with parents, staff, and external agencies. β Ability to work flexibly and collaboratively in a busy nursery setting. β Enhanced DBS check (or willingness to obtain one).
